Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th October 1992), was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She has a prominent role on screen in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She was awarded the National Film Award's Best Actress award for portraying Savitri as the lead actor in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). She has also received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is actress Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. Her career began in early 2000s as a child actor. She returned to film after completing her studies in fashion. She played her first major role on screen in Geethaanjali (2013) in which was a Malayalam movie. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). The first film she acted in outside Malayalam was Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) with Vikram Prabhu. The film was not a success at the box office. It it was A. L. Vijay, and Vikram the director, that released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The movie didn't do quite well, however it did release. To fit in larger projects, she was forced to pull out of films she had started working on. They included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Kavalaivendam by Deekay. In the end, she was also involved in two projects, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo which starred Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played the role of Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film was delayed, and reports indicate that Janakitho Nenu is expected to be released in September of 2020. Nenu Sailaja (2016), with Ram Pothineni as the actor was Keerthy's debut. Keerthy made her debut in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) opposite actor Vijay. She also appeared in Tamil film Paambhu sattai and Telugu film Nenu Local in 2017.
